Not another newsletter...
Not another newsletter…
This is what I’ve been saying to myself for a year or so now. No one wants another newsletter. Do they?
Of course, in that time, I have signed up for more newsletters - including ones I pay for.
So what gives?
I realized that no one needs another junk newsletter. The kind that are really just a long sales pitch peppered with some clickbaity subject that gets you to open it - only to find out the problem to whatever ails you is the product (or course) they’re selling!
So what kind of newsletters did I like reading?
I like the newsletters that made me feel happy or richer after I read them. Not richer as in ‘this idea made me rich!’ but the kind where I thought ‘my life is richer for knowing about this person or this story.’
I like reading newsletters that give me a new idea, perspective, or story to explore. I like newsletters that share stories and anecdotes that are interesting, and/or positive - that make my day better.
I believe there’s room for another newsletter like that.
And as I’ve been following my curiosity - and researching creativity - for the past few years, I’ve come across a lot of stories that are interesting and inspiring - and aren’t widely known.
That’s what I want to share.
So that’s what Curious Minds is going to be (or at least that’s where it begins) - a weekly newsletter that shares a story that I hope you’ll find interesting - and maybe even inspiring.
I’ll follow my curiosity and see where it leads me.
I hope the stories will bring a bit of joy into your day - and encourage you to follow your curiosity.
Thanks for reading.
