I rarely touch them. The fondant centre is far too sickly for my tastes.

We have these in Canada, I'm not sure whether they are the UK or US versions or made here, but I never eat them because the thought really grosses me out. Eggs should not be marshmallows! My husband loves them.

I hear you. When I lived in New Zealand, they sold Cadbury Marshmallow Eggs (totally different from Creme Eggs). They were tasty...but sadly, not something I have seen in either London or the US!

I'm originally from Scotland, I've tried everything that can be deep fried!

You'd love a Midwest US State Fair in that case!

Egg-cellent article

Incidentally, some fish and chip shops in Glasgow, Scotland will deep fry a Creme Egg in batter at this time of year as a seasonal delicacy, some have it on the menu whereas others will serve it on request

Interesting…have you tried it? I wonder if any fish and chips shops in London offer this Easter treat… 🤔

It sounds horrible to me, but so did chocolate covered potato chips (a gift I once received from someone who lived in an Ohio town known for their chocolate - and potato chips). I thought they would be disgusting, but that mixture of salt and sweet was pretty good!
