What I found so interesting is that Clark was not her captor - though most stories refer to him as if he was there from the beginning as a bank robber. He came in that afternoon and instantly made things better - and made the hostages feel safe. Who wouldn't care about someone who did that for them?
(Plus, he got them tampons when they needed them!)
I found that strange too, like it was painted as if he was involved from the start. Odd indeed but a person I would be grateful for, for sure! Especially for the tampons!
